Emma joined Herbert Scott as a Senior Administrator in February 2022.
The holder of a 2:1 in Film Studies and Photography from Sheffield Hallam University, Emma’s administrative experience over the following 2 decades has benefited from an exceptionally wide variety of environments, ranging from bookselling to private healthcare to archaeological societies.
No stranger to Lewes, she was previously responsible for opening historic properties to the public while working as Senior Custodian at the medieval castle on the High Street.
Emma is responsible for supporting the Office Manager and for the day-to-day administrative functions of the office. This can include preparing review meeting files, generating monthly reports, welcoming clients, and everything from maintaining the office window boxes to reconciling expenditures. Emma is planning to work towards gaining her Certificate in Financial Services.
A voracious reader, she also enjoys visiting historic properties both here and overseas with her husband and is forever questing for the perfect English afternoon garden tea. Her other interests include fashion, cake-making, running, nights out, collecting vintage tea sets and her tuxedo cat, Socks.
