Alicia Buckingham is a Chartered Financial Planner with 15 years of experience in wealth management and financial services. She joined Herbert Scott in January 2020 as Technical Manager, where she led a team of Financial Planning Assistants (FPAs) and provided essential support to Financial Planners in preparing detailed client reports and delivering bespoke financial recommendations. Alicia’s dedication to the firm’s growth and her passion for client-centred advice led her to transition into the role of Financial Planner, where she now plays a key role in helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals.

Alicia gained her diploma in financial advice with The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) in 2016, and achieved Chartered Financial Planner status in June 2019. She has gained broad experience in wealth management, covering investment strategies, retirement planning, tax, and estate planning. Her previous roles in administration, management and technical paraplanning have provided Alicia with a comprehensive, technical approach to financial planning.

With a deep commitment to helping clients manage their wealth, Alicia focuses on guiding individuals and families toward financial security, ensuring that their financial affairs are optimised and aligned with their personal and long-term goals.

Outside of her professional life, Alicia remains passionate about literature, having graduated with a 1st Class BA Hons degree in English from the University of Birmingham. When she’s not reading, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family in Brighton, where she lives with her husband Daniel and their two young sons.
