The Position: Are you an aspiring financial planning professional looking for more than just a support role? This role has been designed as a development position for a talented individual who wants to build a long-term career in financial planning. This is not a role where you will be confined to administration. You will be actively involved in all aspects of the financial planning process, developing both technical expertise and client relationship skills.
Anticipated Timeframe (subject to ability / business needs):
- Years 1 & 2 building on existing Financial Planning Assistant skills
- Years 3, 4 & 5 working towards & gaining Chartered status
- Year 5 onwards – migrating into full-time Chartered Financial Planner role, taking leads and direct responsibility for client
The Person We Are Looking For:
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a paraplanner
- Diploma qualified
- Studying towards, or keen to pursue, further professional financial planning qualifications
- Passionate about delivering exceptional client service
- Interested in developing both technical knowledge and client-facing skills
- Looking for genuine career progression and long-term opportunities
- Is prepared to be mainly office based so we can provide the necessary training
