It is with mixed feelings that we announce the departure of Sam Martin, one of our Financial Planning Assistants, and a valued member of the team at Herbert Scott.
Sam joined us as an Apprentice in September 2016. After studying to become a Pharmacist at University, he decided he wanted to embark upon a different career and work in Financial Services. Having passed the Business Administration Level 2 Apprenticeship, he turned his attention to professional development and, with our support, gained several financial qualifications and quickly achieved the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
During his four years with Herbert Scott, Sam became more and more interested in the technical and analytical aspects of investing and we soon realised his next career move would be more suited to a specialist role in a larger firm. We were not surprised, therefore, that Sam decided to take up a Senior Administrator position at HFMC Wealth in London.
We have been busy building more strength and depth to our team and we are pleased to say that a highly experienced candidate for the role of Financial Planning Assistant has already accepted an offer and will be joining us at the end of March.
It is always sad when someone decides to move on as we are a close team and have fun working together, but we do want everyone to be happy and Sam leaves us with our blessing and all our best wishes for his future.
