Herbert Scott was delighted to welcome an enthusiastic work placement student into the firm last week. It was a great chance to support a young person in developing real world work skills and exploring potential career paths in financial services.
Hlib Voishytskyi shared his thoughts about his experience:

During the placement, they showed exceptional professionalism and did an amazing amount of work to make you feel engaged in a variety of activities. They provided outstanding insights on interview techniques, required exams to reach the status of CFP, and an introduction to professional software like Voyant (cash-flow modelling was so fun; thank you, Daniel) and the job they do on a day-to-day basis. It is also worth mentioning the overall atmosphere in the office; the way they make you feel so welcomed is fascinating. I wouldn’t think twice about doing my work experience here again. Massive thank you to every single member of the team who helped me during this amazing experience and especially to Hannah who has thoughtfully organised it.”
