On Thursday 5th December Lewes held its annual Late-Night Christmas Shopping Event. With our new presence on the High Street we decided to get involved and remained open to give residents the opportunity to pop in and see our newly renovated premises and get to know the team.
We got into the Christmas spirit, dressing up as reindeer and standing on the high street welcoming guests. We offered mince pies and mulled wine and children had great fun taking part in the games we ran, which included ‘pin the red nose on the reindeer’, ‘Reindeer Hoopla’ and ‘guess how many coins are in the jar’. The winner will be contacted shortly to receive their prize. Donations from the event were received for our chosen charity of the year, Chestnut Tree House, and they were all greatly appreciated.
Chestnut Tree is the children’s hospice service for East and West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire. They currently care for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and take part in the festivities!
