Herbert Scott, Lewes based Chartered Financial Planners, has doubled its office space with a move that brings quality financial advice closer to the doorsteps of people living in and around the county town.
The firm was set up in 1996 by David Herbert and Kevin Scott with the intent to grow a financial services business that, one day, will run independently of its owners, whilst being client centred and focusing on service.
Renovation of The Left Bank has been undertaken to provide a professional and friendly space in which to encourage open conversation with clients and amongst employees. This is something Herbert Scott believes is at the core of providing a fantastic financial planning service; one that focuses on building relationships before putting in place plans to meet their clients’ needs.
Kevin Scott who has always lived in Lewes said: “It’s incredibly exciting to have acquired such an iconic building in the town and we are all really excited to now have the space to help more people in the local area”.
Over the last 23 years the firm has grown from two founding partners, aiming to fill their first filing cabinet, to an office with 12 employees looking after around 200 clients with £100million of funds under management. The aim is to grow to 24 employees over the course of the next few years whilst keeping the firm’s focus very much on providing a local, personal service to every client.
