On Sunday 25th February 2018, I will be taking part in the Brighton Half Marathon for the second year in a row to raise money for Chestnut Tree House, Herbert Scott’s charity of the year.
Chestnut Tree House is a children’s hospice covering East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire. They care for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions. It currently costs well over £3.5m each year to provide all the care services provided by Chestnut Tree House. Families are never charged for their care and less than 7p in every pound is funded by the government, so they rely heavily on the generosity, help and support of the people of Sussex.
If you are able to support me in this extremely worthwhile cause, I will most certainly be thinking of your kind donations whilst I am training and on the day in Brighton on Sunday 25th February 2018.
